SPONSORS

Sponsors are needed to help cover the cost of our 3 day / 4 courts event with over 90 basketball games played, which draws a crowd of over 3,000 spectators & participants from all over the greater Lehigh Valley Area. In addition to basketball games, we are also hosting a Basket Social & Raffle.

Court Sponsors: $500 and the court will be named after your business or family and a 2’x4’ banner will be prominently displayed on that court and a full page ad will be in the event program. 4 sponsors are needed to help cover the cost of the basketball courts at the 3 area facilities.

Game Sponsors: $60 a game will help to cover the cost of referee fees. A business, family or group may sponsor a game. Your name will appear in the event program under the game you have sponsored and also 1/2 page ad in our program.

Prize Sponsors: Items are placed on display and tickets are purchased for a chance to win the displayed items. Any donations of products/gift certificates will be used as prizes for our raffle. Any monetary donation will be used to purchase basket items.

Ad Sponsors: Your ad choices are $75 for a full page ad, $25 for business card (1/2 page ad is included in Game Sponsor). This is a great opportunity to advertise your business to the local community.

We are also doing a 50/50 the weekend of our Basketball Tournament. The winning ticket will be pulled on Sunday, March 8^th. The cost is $2.00 a ticket or (3) tickets for $5.00. We will have the 50/50 tickets for sale along with our t-shirts, if you would like to purchase them early, and if not, we will have the 50/50 tickets for sale during our Basketball Tournament. Our 50/50 payout last year at the tournament was over $1,000.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Sign up sheets to volunteer for the Food Stand, Admission & T-shirt Tables, & Scoreboard Keepers will be available at the Rec Center on our selling dates listed above. If you cannot make it on those dates and would like to volunteer, please Contact Joe Danner @ 484-788-9792 to schedule a time slot. You must be in at least 8^th grade and have a parent call.

Also, if you know a high school Senior graduating from a school other than Northampton, we will be awarding a $1,000 Community Scholarship. The Senior must volunteer a minimum of 4 hours at our Tournament that is being held March 4, 5 & 6, 2016. Please contact Joe Danner at 484-788-9792 with your name, phone number and high school to schedule. Your name will then go in a raffle with other seniors who volunteer and we will draw the winners in the middle of March 2015.

FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED:

Sign up sheets for Food Donations will be available at the Rec Center on our selling dates listed above. If you cannot make it on those dates and would like to donate a food item, please Contact Jeff Dougherty @ 484-239-8033. We are in need of Hamburger BBQ and Cabbage & Noodles.

BASKET ITEMS NEEDED:

Any donations for our Basket Social can be dropped off at the Rec Center on our selling dates listed above. If you cannot make it on those dates and would like to donate to our Basket Social, please Contact Deb Danner @ 484-357-5314.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR TEAMS THAT PARTICIPATED AT THE 6TH ANNUAL DAKOTA GALUSHA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT & BASKET SOCIAL!

Each year, every basketball player in our tournament is given a raffle ticket for a bike and our winner this year:

Our 50/50 raffle started Friday and went to Sunday at 6:00, our payout on Sunday was $1,134 and the lucky winner:

Also, special Plaque was given to Nazareth Athletic Association for having at least one team in our basketball tournament every year. And a $1,000 scholarship was awarded to a Nazareth senior who played in our first tournament and whose dad has coached several games. Congratulations to:
