The Dakota Galusha Memorial Fund "Forever 47" Scholarship
Each year The Dakota Galusha Memorial Fund will award a scholarship to a deserving Northampton Area High School senior.Guidelines
- Must have at some point in their life played an organized sport with a youth or school sporting program. Documentation must be provided.
- Must have been a Northampton Student on January 26, 2009 district or parochial school.
- Must have volunteered a minimum of 4 hours at our 9th Annual Dakota Galusha Basketball Tournament held March 10th, 11th and 12th, 2017. To volunteer, please contact Joe Danner at 484-788-9792 no later than February 1st, 2017.
- Must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, employer or church leader.
- Provide an essay on one of the two questions below:
- “How has peer pressure affected you"?
- "What is the only thing that you would have changed about high school"?
Applications can be obtained in the Northampton Area High School or on our website. Deadline is March 17th, 2017.

Dakota Galusha Memorial Fund $1,000 Community Scholarship
Guidelines
Candidate must volunteer a minimum of 4 hours at our 9th Annual Basketball Tournament that is being held March 10th, 11th & 12th, 2017. Please contact Joe Danner at 484-788-9792 with your name, phone number and high school to schedule. Your name will then go in a raffle with other seniors who volunteer and we will draw the winner in the middle of March 2017. We need volunteers for the following:
Food Stand, Admission & T-shirt Tables, & Reliable Scoreboard Keepers
